TAKE BETTER PHOTOS
Want to learn more about how your camera works in relation to landscape photography? Get shown around the best spots in Banff National Park? Learn how apps can tell you where and when to show up for the best light? Nail that elusive milky way photo you’ve been chasing for years?
It’s easier to learn when education is tailored to the student. When I was learning photography I struggled to find resources presented in a way that was easy to understand. I decided to start offering one on one photography education to pass along what I have learned about modern digital cameras in a way that works for you.
And what better place to learn about photography than in Banff National Park, home to some of the most iconic and breathtaking vistas our country has to offer. Let me take you around to some of my favourite locations in the Canadian Rockies while teaching you about the fundamentals of your camera, and how they relate to landscape photography.

More important than anything else is PROPER CLOTHING. Temperature in the mountains changes quickly and dramatically. Some photo locations are also at significantly different elevations, which can have a drastic impact on the temperature. Check the weather forecast before we head out, and be prepared for the temperature to quickly change by up to 20 degrees in either direction. Warm, layered clothing, and STURDY BOOTS are a must.
